Dilli Haat Festivals: Venue, Tickets & What to Check

Plan Dilli Haat INA for crafts, regional food and events. Confirm a dated event notice and do not confuse INA, Pitampura and Janakpuri.

For a Dilli Haat festival, confirm the venue and a dated event notice first: INA, Pitampura and Janakpuri are different places. INA is a permanent crafts-and-food market, so no festival is needed to visit. Delhi Tourism's main listing shows daily 11 AM-8 PM and entry ₹30 adult / ₹20 child / ₹100 foreign visitor; confirm current hours and event charges with the venue.

Can I visit without a festival?Yes, INA is a permanent market

Why the venue matters#

"Dilli Haat" alone is not a complete event address. INA is opposite INA Market in South Delhi. Its official venue page describes rotating craft stalls, regional food, exhibition space and a cultural stage.

Janakpuri's official page describes a separate venue on Lal Sai Marg. Do not use the INA route for a Janakpuri or Pitampura ticket.

Before booking, match venue, address, date, entry window, organizer and ticket inclusions. Check whether regular market entry is separate, children need tickets and cancellation rules apply.

Find a current event, not an old calendar#

Look for a dated venue or organizer announcement, checking the year as well as day/month. If tickets are sold, compare the venue/date on the booking page.

The INA official page links an events PDF, but the checked file lists 2020 events. It is not a 2026 calendar. Its winter-hours circular covers December 2024-February 2025, not this October.

This guide does not claim a named festival is happening today or this weekend. If your trip depends on a performance, call INA using the numbers on its official page: 011-26119055 or 011-24678817. Ask for event date, venue, start time and extra tickets.

What to do without a festival#

Browse textiles, handicrafts, carved items and jewelry, then choose regional food stalls. Delhi Tourism says craft stalls rotate on a 15-day basis; a seller photographed in an old visit may not be there now.

Compare materials and workmanship before paying. Ask about care, size and packing when buying gifts. An exhibition or performance can add to the day, but do not plan a permanent-market visit around an unconfirmed show.

A useful suggested sequence is crafts first, food next, confirmed performance last. It is a self-paced plan, not an official programme. Arrive with browsing time rather than at closing expecting every food stall to keep serving.

Metro and return journey#

Dilli Haat-INA station is a Yellow/Pink interchange. Follow Dilli Haat signs, not INA Market. DMRC's accessibility document identifies Gate 5 towards Delhi Haat; current gate operation can change.

Check first/last trains, especially for an interchange. Market closing is not your last usable train time. If using a cab, agree a legal pickup point the driver can find.

Hours and price conflict explained#

The official INA page's main listing shows 11 AM-8 PM and ₹30 / ₹20 / ₹100, but older lower-price text remains below it. Older seasonal circulars also have different hours. We use the main visitor listing as the planning reference and disclose the conflict rather than claiming the official page is consistent.

Confirm before a late visit or ticketed event. A legacy price screenshot is not proof of today's gate charge.

FAQ#

Is there a Dilli Haat festival every day?#

INA is a permanent crafts-and-food market. A named festival or performance requires a dated programme and is not guaranteed daily.

Which Metro is nearest to Dilli Haat INA?#

Dilli Haat-INA on Yellow and Pink. Follow market-directed signs and current gate instructions.

What are INA hours and entry prices?#

The main official listing shows 11 AM-8 PM daily, ₹30 adult, ₹20 child and ₹100 foreign visitor. Conflicting older text remains; confirm current details with the venue.

Are INA and Janakpuri the same venue?#

No. INA, Pitampura and Janakpuri are separate. Match your event's full address.
