About DelhiGPT
DelhiGPT is an independent travel guide to Delhi, made for people visiting the city, especially for the first time. It answers the questions that matter when you land: how to get from the airport to your hotel, which sights to see and in what order, what to eat, where to stay and which tricks to watch out for.
Who runs it
DelhiGPT is built and run by Aman Raj in Delhi. Answers to a visitor’s first questions are usually scattered across old forum threads, long search results and advice from people with something to sell.
The goal is one place that gives a clear, honest answer, the way a local friend would: fair prices, the right metro exit, what to skip, and what to say when someone tells you your hotel has closed.
What you can use
How the content is made
Guides are drafted with the help of AI tools, then checked against official sources and local knowledge before they are published. Each guide shows when it was last checked. Where we use public data, we say where it comes from:
- Delhi Metro routes, stations, gates and facilities: DMRC's published timetable data and station lists.
- Bus routes and timetables: DTC route and timetable documents.
- Monument timings and tickets: the Archaeological Survey of India and the sites' official pages.
- Restaurants and cafés: public listings, with ratings shown as they appear on Google.
The AI chat uses these guides and data first, and general knowledge only when they don’t cover your question. AI can still get things wrong, so check prices, timings and visa rules with the official source before you rely on them.
DelhiGPT isn’t affiliated with DMRC, DTC, the ASI, any government body or any business we mention. The site is supported by ads and optional paid plans.
