The tourist card is the classic visitor play — available at major stations including New Delhi — and pays off if you'll ride four-plus times a day. Light users should just grab a smart card and refund the deposit at journey's end.
Step 2: Navigate Like You've Done It Before
ENTRY → security scan (bags through X-ray, you through metal detector)
→ stand behind the yellow line on the platform
→ let passengers EXIT before boarding
→ inside: priority seats at coach ends for elderly/disabled
EXIT → follow overhead signs to your exit gate number BEFORE reaching stairs
→ tap token/card at gate again
